Storage space in the spare tire area

Hey everyone!

What useful items could fit into the small, shallow, and uniquely sized cutouts in the styrofoam that fills the area where a spare tire would go?

I just want to make this storage space more functional and user-friendly.

What about a flashlight or emergency ponchos? Also, a small set of jumper cables or a folding rain cover would fit there, too. You never know when you will need them.
