Is it true you can start the UX 300h remotely? If yes, how? I just can't find any relevant info...

AFAIK, to use remote start, you usually need a subscription to the Lexus app. The standard remote key fob doesn't have this feature. However, you might be able to add remote start with an aftermarket system.
