I just bought new tires when suddenly my TPMS won't shut off. Went to the dealer and they told me my sensors were broken and needed to be replaced at a VERY EXPENSIVE amount. Is there any way to reset this without replacing it? Or is there a fix for this? I'm open to paying for repairs, but I'm not willing to spend an exorbitant amount.

I once issues with my TPMS after getting new tires, and it turned out the sensors just needed to be reset. I followed the reset procedure outlined in my owner's manual, which involved turning on the ignition and pressing the gas pedal a few times. It worked like a charm! If that doesn't help, you might want to check if your dealer can reprogram the sensors instead of replacing them, which can be way more affordable..

Hi, @002Tope!

I found this, and I guess it might help you.

I had the exact same issue with my UX250H last year! It turned out to be a worn-out exhaust hanger. Replacing it at the dealership stopped the clacking completely, quick fix and minimal cost.
