So my amazing hubby got me a used 2021 UX250h, but now I’ve got this backup camera that's throwing a full-on tantrum and making this loud noise whenever I try to use it. Like, seriously, what’s up with that?

Anyone else run into this issue? Got any tips? Appreciate it!

Just so you know, that noise you hear isn’t from the camera - it’s the car making it. It’s a legal thing, meant to help people know when you’re backing up or moving forward. With hybrids, sometimes it’s just running on battery, so it’s super quiet. That can be kinda risky, which is why the sound is there to keep folks aware. Safety first, right?

Oh, gotcha! Silly me! Haha 😂 I totally missed that it’s one of those safety features. But it really catches you off guard, right? Do you happen to know if there’s a way to tweak the volume or something? Or is it stuck at one level for everyone?

I don't think there's a way to adjust the volume for that safety sound; it's typically set to a standard level for safety reasons. But it's definitely worth checking the owner’s manual or asking your dealer, just in case.
