Lexus UX 200 Jerking

My wife just scored a used 2018 Lexus UX 200 last month, and we’ve already hit a little snag. Last week, she noticed it’s kind of jerking when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear, esp when she’s starting from a complete stop. It’s like this most of the time, and it only happens in Normal driving mode. The odd part? No issues at all in Manual Mode!

We took it to the dealer, but they said they couldn’t find anything wrong, really? Anyone know what’s up?

I’m dealing with the same thing in my UX 200, it’s like a rough ride when I first hit the gas. But flipping it into Sport mode totally helps! Funny enough, the dealer couldn’t find anything wrong either (as always!).

What's the current mileage on your 2018 car? Given its age, a tranny fluid change might be overdue.

Any updates? That's definitely strange, especially since it only happens in Normal mode. It might be something with the transmission or the driving mode settings. Have you tried resetting the system or checking for any software updates? Glad to hear Manual mode is working fine though!

How is it now? I'd suggest taking it to an independent mechanic if I were you.
